The Bharath Abhyudaya Seva Samithi (BASS) is a registered non-governmental organisation working for the development of poor and marginalised communities in rural and urban areas of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, India.
The Bharath Abhyudaya Seva Samithi (BASS) was founded by Chuka Peter Paul an eminent professional social scientist in 1978 after the havoc cyclone hit to serve the vulnerable families in Guntur district. Mr Peter Paul has been continuously heading the BASS as founder president and guiding light for all the Executive body staff and volunteers of the BASS to execute development projects. Under his able leadership the BASS has successfully completed and continued several social, educational, health care and emergency relief activities.
